Description of the activity

Days of approach are offered to the investigation in astrophysics that is made in the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía (IAA). The activities that will be made will be the following ones:

• 19:00 Opening of the IAA to the visitors. Popular panels of the investigation that is made in the IAA and access to monitors with interactive programs will appear to the visitors that will allow an approach to diverse aspects of our Universe.

• 19:30 Projection of a popular video on the scientific activity of the IAA.

• 20:00 Popular descriptive talk of the astronomical observations that are going away to make next.

• 20:30 Astronomical observations with telescope PETI located in the roof of the IAA, that will be followed from the assembly hall of the IAA, where will transmit the images via Internet. This activity will be able to be made solely if the climatologic conditions allow it. In case of bad weather, images of the file of observations of PETI will project.

• 21:30 Finish of the activity.
